Our Story

We created Pour Memory to solve an actual problem we kept having. We'd never remember where we got certain wines, at what price, and most importantly… who gave it and why if we received it as a gift.

Our friends gifted me (Jenny) the most thoughtful dry Italian red for my 31st birthday. A few months later, they were over and I scanned the bottle on Vivino to decide if we should open it. I saw the high rating and said, "Wow this is a nice bottle! Should we open it?" They replied, "Yeah… we got it for you."

I was mortified.

After that, I started writing on my bottles with a Sharpie every time I got one as a gift: who it was from and why.

Sharpie-writing sparked the idea for Pour Memory — products that help capture the story behind and memory of each bottle. At the core are our patent-pending wine labels and custom-designed journals. It's the perfect gift for any wine lover or friend who values celebration and meaningful moments.

Using our products is easy. And if you want to gift a bottle that already has a Pour Memory label on it, no worries at all. The bottom sticker of our labels is temporary stick and won't leave a residue.

We also partnered with our friend and co-founder, Trey, on the Pour Memory app so you can digitize your physical journal or keep everything in the app.
